Tradition, good work, love for the land, quality commitment, commitment with oneself, liking of healthy things; these are some of the characteristics that define the work of the people of Navarrsotillo.
At our family winery founded by the brothers, Andres and Ramon Serrano and their cousin Luis Ruiz, technology and innovation are suitably combined with tradition in the cultivation of the farms inherited from our parents, using organic methods to obtain the best wines. We firmly believe that the health of our land is extremely important to be able to obtain quality wines, so, chemical products of synthesis have no place in our daily work. Our production is supervised and certified by the Control Organisation for Organic Agriculture of La Rioja, ES-RI-AE, under the standard EU 2092/91.
For our customers, Navarrsotillo is the synonym of tradition, of traditional farming and good work; in short, of top quality wines.
     
The family possesses approximately 60 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards distributed as follows: 70% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, 10% Mazuelo, 5% Graciano and 5% Viura. In addition, over the last three years the plantation of about 15 hectares Tempranillo and Graciano varieties has been tackled.
 
Our newly built winery, 1998, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to prepare quality red wines: stainless steel tanks, air conditioned rooms, laboratory, ageing winery, etc. The current production capacity is around 350,000 litres but an increase has been foreseen for the not too distant future. On the other hand, there are about 500 American and French oak barrels in the ageing winery.
Currently, we prepare red and white wines protected by the Rioja DOC and organic agriculture certificates from the organisation ES-RI-AE. Our makes are: NOEMUS for red wines and young white wines, COMISATIO for special young wines of Medium Crianza (Ageing) and Carbonic Maceration, and MAGISTER BIBENDI for Crianza (Ageing), Reserves and Author Wines.

On the other hand, our company grows and markets a wide variety of certified organic fruit and vegetables, both packaged and loose. Our makes are: Navarrsotillo and BioMundi.
